It's that time of year again. ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) annually requires that all accredited registrars (like Go Daddy) ask their domain administrators/registrants to review domain name contact data, and make any changes necessary to ensure accuracy.

To review/update your contact data, simply:
+ Go to www.godaddy.com/?isc=ICANN07a
+ Click on the "ICANN Domain Confirmation" icon at the top of the page
+ You will be taken to a landing page and asked to enter your Domain Information Key: ***
+ Enter your key and click "Go."

Next, simply review the contact information for each domain name. To make a correction, log in to "My Account" with your customer number or log in name and password. Click "Manage Domains," select the domain to update, then click "Contact." If you find that your domain contact data is accurate, there's no need to take action.

If, however, your domain contact information is inaccurate, you must correct it. (Under ICANN rules and the terms of your registration agreement, providing false contact information can be grounds for domain name cancellation.) אני לא בטווח מה לעשות, יכול להיות שמישהו מנסה לגנוב לי את המשתמש?

רק מבקשים ממך לבדוק שהפרטים שלך נכונים.

לא לא...גם אני קיבלתי...זה פשוט אחת לשנה איגוד האינטרנט בעולמי עושה עידכון פרטים אצלו אז גודדי מזמינים אותכם לעדכן את הפרטים של דומיין במידה והם לא תקינית (ולאו דווקא בכוונה הם לא תקינים) אף אחד לא משנה לגנוב לך דומיין...אם היית יודע קצת לקרוא אנגלית אני מאמין זה היה חוסך לך את האשכול הזה...

אני שואל פה מכיוון שקיבלתי אימייל כמעט זהה מאי-גולד עם אותה בקשה שהתגלה כקישור ששותל לי משהו שלוקח לי את הסיסמא. במזל גיליתי את זה ושיניתי את הסיסמא.

אני קיבלתי את זה מגודדי וזה היה אמיתי. קיבלתי את זה לפני מעל לחצי שנה.
אתה עושה אימות קטן וזה הכל.

אתה רק נכנס לקישור שהם אמרו, מכניס את הקוד שהם נתנו לך, ובודק שכל הפרטים של הדומיינים נכונים...
