Foldershare הינה תוכנה שמאפשרת לכם לגשת לקבצים מכל מחשב עם גישה לאינטרנט. ניתן לסנכרן תיקיות בין מחשבים, לגשת למחשב בתוך רשת פנימית, ולמחשבים מאחורי חומת אש. ניתן לתת גישה לתיקיות מסוימות למשתמשים אחרים או לכל הקבצים. תוכנה מעולה לגישה לקבצים שלכם, מכל מקום, במיוחד מאחורי חומת אש. מתוך האתר: What is FolderShare and why do I need it? FolderShare allows you to synchronize files across multiple computers and access or share files with colleagues and friends. You no longer need to send large files via email, burn them to CDs/DVDs and mail them, or upload them to a website. FolderShare allows you to share and sync important information instantly with anyone you invite, making it the perfect solution for personal or small business use. FolderShare allows you to share with other people, sync folders between your own computers, and remotely access your files via a web browser. How much does FolderShare cost? The is no charge to use FolderShare - it is free! Why is it better than FTP or other solutions? FolderShare does much more than move files from computer A to computer B. Unlike FTP programs, FolderShare allows you to create a library of your files that you can download and modify from anywhere without having to use a special program. FolderShare can automatically keep the contents of folders on multiple computers synchronized. FolderShare works in the background to automatically recognize modified files and auto-upload them to other computers connected to your library. How do I get started? To get started, you will need to download and install the FolderShare Satellite. During the installation, you will create an account. Once the Satellite is installed and running, click the FolderShare icon in your system tray and select My FolderShare to login to the FolderShare website to start using the service. Is FolderShare secure? FolderShare is a secure peer-to-peer system. Only you and your invited members can view or access files in your FolderShare library. FolderShare encrypts all files and messages exchanged on our network to ensure user privacy. All P2P communication on FolderShare is authenticated via RSA and encrypted via AES over SSL. What is FolderShare compatible with? Currently, FolderShare works on computers running Windows 2000, 2003, or XP, Mac OS X 10.3.8 or higher, and Iomega Network Hard Drives. FolderShare's Web Download function will work on any web browser, including those used by wireless devices. Will FolderShare work on my wireless network? FolderShare works on wireless networks. If you have several computers sharing one Internet connection, some additional configuration may be required. See Firewalls. What are the system requirements for FolderShare? Operating System: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 Mac OS X 10.3.8 Hardware Requirements: PC: Intel Pentium II processor (or equivalent) 350 MHz or higher; Mac: G3/G4/G5 128 MB RAM required, 256 MB RAM recommended 10 MB available hard disk space Display Resolution: 800x600, 16 bit 65,536 color Web Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, Firefox 1.0, Opera 7.x Internet Connection: 56 kbps dialup connection minimum LAN (Local Area Network) with Internet access, DSL, or cable modem preferred Will FolderShare work with any type of file? Any type of file can be transferred via FolderShare.

לדעתי בכלל לא שימושג, יש לי 4 מחשבים בבית, כולם מחוברים לראוטר ברשת,
לכולם יש שיתוף בלי שום תוכנה נוספת. |

אנחנו נוטים לשכוח שההבדל היחידי בין אדם פחדן לאמיץ, הוא שהפחדן יחשוב פעמיים לפני שהוא קופץ לכלוב עם אריה, האמיץ לא יודע מה זה אריה, הוא רק חושב שהוא יודע. |

יש לי צורך בתוכנה כזו כדי להיכנס למחשב שלי דרך אחרים.. מישהו התנסה בתוכנה בעבר?
